DISPERBYK „made our dreams come true“
BYK bringt das neue Lackadditiv DISPERBYK-160 auf den Markt – und löst damit ein grundlegendes Problem, das bis dahin vielen Kunden Kopfzerbrechen bereitet hat. In fast fünfjähriger Forschungsarbeit und mit neuen Analytikmethoden gelingt es BYK, mit DISPERBYK-160 das weltweit erste Netz- und Dispergieradditiv für organische Pigmente zu entwickeln.
Bald schon folgen weitere DISPERBYK-Produkte. Die Kunden reagieren begeistert. Aus Island erreicht BYK ein überschwängliches Fax: „Thanks for your delivery of DISPERBYK-163. This material has made our dreams come true.“ Anfang der 1990er Jahre gehört die DISPERBYK-Familie zu den umsatzstärksten Produkten des Unternehmens.
