「化学物質の登録評価の法令」、別名 K-REACH は、2015 年 1 月 1 日より施行されています。
K-REACHはEU REACHを参考に確立され、化学物質および化学物質を含有した製品の管理が強化されました。本法令の主な目的は、韓国で製造および輸入される化学物質を登録し、化学物質に関する情報やデータを作成／共有／配布し、当該物質の危険性およびリスクを評価することです。
K-REACHにおいて、韓国で製造および輸入される新規化学物質（韓国既存化学物質リスト（ KECI）未収載物質）は数量制限なく、既存化学物質は1トン/y以上の場合に登録が必要になります。 1トン/y以上の既存化学物質について、登録猶予期限の適用を受けるには2019年6月末までに予備登録を行う必要があります。
