世界で唯一の ： ハイスループット・スクリーニング装置
5年間の計画期間を経て、2022年5月、Wesel(ドイツ）の中心地で、世界でも類を見ないデジタルラボが稼働を開始しました：High-throughput Screening Facility (HTS Facility)：
ハイスループット・スクリーニング装置（HTS装置）は、BYK 社の要望に応じてスイスの専門企業が 1,500 万ユーロで製造したものです。混合、塗布、測定が完全自動で、しかも非常に速いペースで行われます。
HTS施設では、1 日に最大 220 のサンプルを製造し、試験を行います。比較のために： よく訓練された塗装技術者が1日に作り出すサンプルは最大10個です。HTS施設のおかげで、ラボのスタッフは小規模な日常業務から解放され、研究に費やす時間が増えました。
さらに、結果の再現性も高くなります。なぜなら、経験豊富なラボの専門家とは異なり、この設備は一貫して動作し、例えばサンプルの重量を測定する際に1ミリグラムの誤差も生じないからです。デジタルラボは、お客様にも付加価値を提供します： BYKは、完全自動化された一連の試験で多くの作業を軽減し、お客様の新しい塗料の配合をサポートします。
