Due to the continuous shortage and therefore drastically increased prices for silicones and silicone derivatives, BYK has decided to implement a surcharge for silicone containing additives for all deliveries after January 1, 2019. As an important raw material for the production of many innovative additives, BYK has worked hard to limit the downstream burden of their limited availability and escalating costs. However, to maintain the level of service and innovation that our customers expect, a surcharge ranging from 0.30 €/kg to 1.00 €/kg is inevitable.
