BYK Netherlands hat auf dem Dach seines Standorts in Denekamp Sonnenkollektoren installiert. Neben Deventer ist Denekamp damit der zweite BYK Standort in den Niederlanden, der Energie aus einer nachhaltigen Quelle erzeugt. Das Dach der Lagerhalle ist mit 444 Solarzellen bestückt, die jährlich etwa 145.000 kWh Ökostrom erzeugen. Und das ist noch lange nicht alles: An allen drei niederländischen BYK-Standorten sind weitere Nachhaltigkeitsprojekte in Planung.
