BYK-C is BYKs brand for coupling agents used in thermosets. Coupling agents create strong bonds between different phases of formulations to improve the mechanical properties of reinforced materials. They can be used in fiber-reinforced formulations or in highly-filled formulations to increase the bonding between fiber or filler and the resin matrix.
